Howdy MAPS!
Before I became an officer, I was very curious as to what goes on during officer meetings. The first officer meeting of the 2019-2020 school year consisted of the officers following a pre-made checklist of items to discuss. Although this may seem like a boring meeting, when you are surrounded by these amazing people, it's hard not to have a good time! So many great things are planned for this upcoming semester, and we can't wait to experience it all with you guys! Thanks and gig 'em, Helen Howdy!
The MAPS officers got together and set up our concession stand, which raises money for MAPS! We did inventory ahead of the first game of the semester, and it was very hot! Silver lining: we snapped this pic and basically had Kyle Field to ourselves! A new implementation for active membership requirements is volunteering for at least one concession stand event (football, basketball, softball, etc.). It might not the easiest job, but you will have fun with other MAPS members and officers. Thanks and gig 'em, Helen Huang The 2019-2020 officers of MAPS got together on this beautiful Saturday to bond and get some work done for the upcoming semester!
We started the day off with some free community yoga at the Lake Walk Town Center before heading to Kyle Field for Concessions training (*remember: to gain active membership, you must volunteer for at least one game concession event) Then, we got lunch at Torchy's. Some of us then relaxed and soaked up some sun by the pool in the afternoon. We are feeling good and are so ready to make this an amazing semester for all our members! Thanks and gig 'em, Helen |
