Thank you to everyone who made it to our end of the year banquet, and congratulations to the 2019-2020 Executive Board! We had lots of fun, ate some good food, and awards were given out! We are so excited to see what the next school year holds in store for our officers and members. Lastly, good luck to the graduating seniors in their future endeavors, we believe in you and wish you nothing but the best! Our officers and top 10 point-earning members attended the SNMA Annual Medical Education Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! This was the perfect opportunity to learn more about what it means to be pre-med and to network with medical students and medical professionals. Our 2018-2019 President, Anika Felix, was awarded MAPS Chapter President of the Year at the Board of Director's Banquet! Felix won out of all the chapter presidents in Region 3, which includes the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Mississippi, and New Mexico! In addition, Oge Anwaegbu (not pictured), our top point-earning member, was awarded Region 3 volunteer of the year! Keep it up everyone! We also made time to explore the beautiful city! Make sure to rack up those points and you may get to come with us (filght and hotel cost-free) to AMEC next year in Cleveland, Ohio! Thanks and gig 'em!
